I’m a multi-hyphenate artist and creative from New York City.

I’m a professional bilingual actor and singer in musical theatre, commercial, and voiceover. I’m a powerful mezzo soprano with a passion for justice and progress. As a performer, I amplify the stories of women with an indomitable spirit, who defy the odds and follow their hearts in their pursuit of a better world.

As a content creator, social media strategist and manager, I connect small businesses and brands with their people around the world through the power of storytelling and social media. Utilizing the power of short form video (Tik Tok/Instagram Reels) as well as comprehensive, multi-platform strategic consulting and planning, I help brands share their authentic voice and story to build relationships and trust with their current and future patrons.

No matter what i’m doing, I use my voice to connect and build in a world where disconnection is quickly becoming the standard.

Fun Facts About Me:

• Born and currently live in Brooklyn, New York

• Native Spanish speaker and first learned English from “Barney & Friends”

• First generation immigrant from the Dominican Republic

• Happily married to partner Nick David since 2015

• Graduate of Penn State University (BA Journalism) and CUNY Hunter College (MS Special Education)

• Worked as a special educator for a decade, serving as an award-winning teacher, coach, and middle school dean

• Since 2017, performed in numerous commercials, voiceovers, regional theatres, Broadway national tours, and Off Broadway productions

• Started content creation in 2020, after coming home from the Broadway national tour of “A Bronx Tale” at the start of the pandemic

• In 2021, created MJ Content Creations to support to small businesses and brands
